NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's soccer team battled snow and fridged temperatures and claimed a 4-0 win over Saint Mary's University on Wednesday.

The Oles (5-6-1, 2-3-1 MIAC) scored twice in the first 12 minutes.

Phil Kennedy had a goal and an assist, and Barrett Kennedy scored the game-winner at the 7:19 mark of the first.

Brian Kehoe added the Oles' second goal just four minutes later.

Snow showers hit Rolf Mellby Field for the game's first 20 minutes. Temperature at kickoff was 31 degrees.

The Oles have won two of their last three MIAC contests. They hit the road for a pair of games in Texas this weekend - Southwestern University on Saturday and Trinity University on Sunday.
