NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Host St. Olaf had 547 yards of total offense in a 48-15 win over Carleton on Saturday afternoon.

St. Olaf had turnovers on its first three offensive possessions, but led 25-7 at the half.

Evan Endsley had five catches for 100 yards and 11 rushes for 92 yards in the win for the Oles (7-2, 5-2 MIAC).

The Oles' victory was the tenth straight against Carleton. The win also ensured three straight seven-win seasons for the first time since 1969-1971.

Matt Penz threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns in the win, but was intercepted three times.

Carleton's Matt Frank had a school record 14 receptions for 166 yards and Chris Gardner had nine catches for 181 yards and a touchdown. The Knights' Darren Capsers was 25-for-59 for 344 yards and a touchdown in a game that lasted just over three hours.

The St. Olaf defense had 11 sacks, including three from Nick Rydberg. Rydberg added an interception.

St. Olaf finishes their 2006 season at the University of St. Thomas next Saturday at 1 p.m.
