TIED AGAIN! Oles, Auggies skate to eighth straight tie

MINNEAPOLIS - The St. Olaf and Augsburg College men's hockey teams played to the eighth straight tie in series history on Saturday night with their 2-2 non-decision at Augsburg Arena.

St. Olaf (1-5-2, 1-1-2 MIAC) took a 2-0 lead. John Paulson scored an early power play goal and Brett Kistner added an even-strength tally at the 12:50 mark later in the period.

Aaron Johnson and Critter Nagurski scored the Auggies' goals.

Jeff Wilde made 30 saves for the Oles, who outshot Augsburg 39-32. Andy Kent made 37 saves in net for the Auggies.

St. Olaf hosts Saint John's on Saturday at 2 p.m.
