ST. PAUL, Minn. - Kyle Kurr's power play goal with 1:54 left in regulation led Hamline University to a 4-3 men's hockey win over St. Olaf on Friday night at Drake Arena.
Hamline (7-11-0, 3-6-0 MIAC) scored three unanswered in the last period-plus to hand the Oles (6-12-2, 5-4-2 MIAC) their ninth one-goal loss of the season.
St. Olaf had a 3-1 lead after Justin Green, Dylan Mueller and Jeff Budish lit the lamp on consecutive second-period goals.
The Pipers, however, got goals from Steve Festler and Dustin Fulton before the second intermission to tie the game at 3-3.
St. Olaf and Hamline meet in the series finale tomorrow night at Northfield Ice Arena at 7 p.m.
