DUNDAS, Minn. - Andy Dimick threw a complete game and Carson Jones homered twice to lead the St. Olaf baseball team to a 4-2 win over the University of St. Thomas in the winner's bracket final of the MIAC Baseball Playoffs on Friday night.

Jones gave St. Olaf a 1-0 lead with his leadoff homer in the second and added to the Oles' 3-2 lead with his blast in the sixth.

St. Olaf's Andrew Schmiesing, who was 2-for-4 in the win, led off the sixth with a homer.

After St. Olaf took a 2-0 lead on a Josh Maus sacrifice fly in the fourth, UST catcher Matt Pexa evened the game at 2-2 on a two-run shot to center.

Dimick scattered nine hits and one walk in the win.

Riley Bosch took the loss for the Tommies, who got three perfect innings of relief from Will Montgomery.

St. Thomas (29-10) will meet Saint John's, which beat Gustavus 4-3 in 10 innings in the first round of the loser's bracket, at 1 p.m. The winner of that will get St. Olaf (31-6) for the title.

St. Olaf defeated Saint John's 4-3 in the opener while St. Thomas was 9-3 winners over the Gusties.
