Dobyns captures title: Leads team to crown at Women's NCAA Central Regionals

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Janet Dobyns captured the individual title and led Luther College to take the team crown at the NCAA Division III Central Regional Cross Country Championships. Sarah Spencer of Grinell College finished second while third place went to Marie Borner of Bethel University.
Luther had three runners in the top twenty: Janet Dobyns (1st, 21:38), Flannery Corbin (17th) and Rachel Wobeter (19th). Nebraska Wesleyan and Wartburg College took second and third place team honors while St. Thomas University and host St. Olaf College represented the MIAC with fourth and fifth place team finishes respectively.
Top finishers for the Oles were Jenna Carlson (26th, 23:15), Casey Baustian (33rd, 23:27) and Jacqueline Kelly (34, 23:28).
