Carleton's Dan Forkrud, Anthony Baquero and Kyle Beste combined for 69 points in the Knight's 86-73 win over St. Olaf Saturday at Skoglund Center.

St. Olaf cut a once 16-point Carleton lead to six with just over 11 minutes to play.

The Knights, however, hit three three-pointers in the next five minutes to seal the win. Baquero, who set a school record going 6-for-6 from three, hit two in the stretch.

Tucker Weisman (Fy, Minneapolis/Breck) had 13 and Mark Bergstrom (So., Woodbury, Minn.) 12 points for St. Olaf.

Forkrud finished with 26, Baquero 23 and Beste 20 points, and Jake Phillips added nine assists for the playoff-bound Knights.

Jon Bain (So., Austin, Minn.) added ten points and six rebounds in a losing effort for St. Olaf.

The win makes four straight for Carleton against the Oles.

The Oles play their last game of 2004-05 Saturday, when they host Saint Mary's University at 3 p.m.
