Tommies beat Gusties 6-2

Janet Nagel homered and pitched St. Thomas a 6-2 win over Gustavus in the winners bracket, second-round game at the MIAC Softball Tournament on Friday in Northfield, Minn.

St. Thomas will face the winner of Gustavus and Saint Mary's at 1:30 p.m.

Nikki Conway hit her second homer of the day, and finished the game 2-for-4 at the plate.

Gustavus' Bree Lindenberg pitched four solid innings of relief, allowing just one run.

Gustavus faces Saint Mary's at 11 a.m. The winner will play St. Thomas at 1:30 p.m.
