Kelsay Watt (So., Apple Valley, Minn.) had a goal and an assist as the St. Olaf women's soccer team rolled over Augsburg 4-0 Wednesday afternoon, keeping the Oles playoff hopes alive and well.

Watt scored in the 53rd minute and, with Lindsay Ruisch (Jr., Johnston, Iowa), assisted on the game's opening goal by Kaia Knutson (Jr., Fargo, N.D./South) in the 34th minute.

Maiken Overton (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn.) and Erica Gruner (Jr., Appleton, Wis./East) found the net for St. Olaf as well.

The Oles (6-4-0 MIAC) now need a win Saturday to clinch and MIAC playoff berth, after Carleton (7-3) was defeated by league-leading Macalester this afternoon 2-0.

With a win over the Knights, St. Olaf would hold the tie-breaker over Carleton and the Auggies, who would each be 7-4.

Second place Concordia-Moorhead and regular-season champion Macalester (10-0-1) have locked up spots in the four-team tournament, which begins next Wednesday at the higher seeds.

St. Olaf hosts Carleton in the final regular season game Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rolf Mellby Field.
