Women take first at Divisional Championships

BIWABIK, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's alpine ski team placed first of 11 teams in the Giants Ridge USCSA Divisional Championships Feb. 9-10.

Leading the Oles were Calsita Anderson and Kayla Johnson who took first and second place in the Slalom. Anderson won the event with run times of 37.48 and 35.66.

Cold weather canceled the Giant Slalom.

Also helping the Oles were Hennessy Wadell (6th), Sarah Bottjen (7th), and Laura Mansell (9th ).
