Men's swimming wins both relays, is second after first day at MIAC's

MINNEAPOLIS - The St. Olaf men's swimming and diving team won the 200 Free and 400 Medley Relays and is in second place through the first of three days at the MIAC Championships at the University of Minnesota's Aquatics Center.

The Oles - behind Nelson Westby, Jake Koch, Adam Meyer and Nate Bentley - held off St. Thomas in the 200 Free Relay and came from behind to win the 400 Medley Relay over Gustavus.

Koch was second in the 50 free, by two-hundredths of a second, and Westby second in the 200 Individual Medley.

Gustavus (230) holds a 22-point over the Oles (208) after day one.
