Women get wins from Germeroth, Grinde, 800 Free Relay

MINNEAPOLIS - Alyssa Germeroth won 3-meter diving, Kjersten Grinde the 100 Breast and the Oles took the 800 Free as the St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team remained in second place through the Friday's second day at the MIAC Championships at the University of Minnesota's Aquatics Center.

The win was the second straight for Germeroth.

The Oles' 800 Free Relay - with Alli Beardsley, Jamie Fredeen, Aly Janzen and Christina Roberts - won with a time of 7:51.10.

Beardsley was third in the 400 IM.

St. Olaf trails Gustavus by 70 into the tomorrow's final session.
