Pole vaulter Amie Fillmore qualifies provisionally for nationals

DULUTH, Minn. - St. Olaf pole vaulter Amie Fillmore won her event at Saturday's Lake Superior Challenge, qualifying provisionally for nationals with her vault.
Fillmore, a sophomore, was first in a field of 20, vaulting 3.56m. The vault is also a new school record for indoor track and field.
Jenna Carlson and Jackie Kelley added third and seventh place runs in the mile. The duo was third and fourth in the 3,000.
Lisa Skildum added a third place run in the 1,000.
The Ole women's track team competes next February 23 at the U of M Parent's Day Open.
