Women's alpine win regionals, ready to compete at USCSA Nationals

The St. Olaf Women's Alpine Ski team won the Marquette Regional on February 16-17. Kayla Johnson won the slalom with a time of 79.31. Also placing for the Oles were Hennesy Wadell (3rd), Kaitlin Ryan (5th) and Laura Mansell (8th).

In the giant slalom, Wadell led St. Olaf with a 3rd place finish, followed by Ryan in 5th, Johnson in 7th, and Calista Anderson in 8th.

With a first place finish at regionals, the Oles will compete in Sunday River, Maine for the USCSA Nationals March 3-8.
