Women's track and field competes at U of M

MINNEAPOLIS - The St. Olaf women's track and field team competed in the Parents' Day Open at the University of Minnesota this Saturday.

Top performers for the Oles included senior Jackie Kelly and sophomore Amie Fillmore.

Kelly placed third in the 5000m run, running a time of 18:21.24.

Fillmore, who set a new school indoor pole vault record last weekend, broke her own record, vaulting 11'11" (3.65m) for a sixth place finish.

The Parents' Day Open was unscored. The Ole women compete next when they host the St. Olaf Invitational February 29.
