Women's tennis shuts out Hamline

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's tennis team swept all nine matches against Hamline on Wednesday.
In doubles action, Sarah Carlson and Aimee Ny won, 8-6. Abby Ho and Anna Klenke had little trouble, teaming up to win 8-0. Steph Randall and Ellen Goerss also dominated their match, 8-1.
Ho continues to have a strong season in the number one singles spot, winning 6-2, 7-6. Goerss battled back to win, 1-6, 6-1, 10-6. Ny saw little resistance in third singles, 6-0, 6-3. The Oles also collected wins from Sarah Carlson (6-1, 6-1), Sarah Magnuson (6-3, 7-5), and Maddy Buck (6-2, 6-0).
The victory brings St. Olaf to 3-4 on the season and 3-2 in conference play. The Oles will host Bethel University on Saturday in Lakeville with a 10 a.m. start.
