Ole women's tennis over St. Mary's

NORTHFIELD, Minn.--The St. Olaf women's tennis team came out strong against St. Mary's on Saturday, winning 6-3 at home.

The Oles nearing swept the singles competition, winning five matches. Abby Ho won in the number one singles spot, 6-1, 6-0. Aimee Ny battled to win, 6-1, 3-6, 10-7. Sarah Carlson and Ida Holdahl both won in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4, and 6-0, 6-3, respectively. Anna Klenke also emerged victorious, 6-4, 1-6, 10-5.

In doubles, Holdahl matched up with Sarah Magnuson to win at third singles, 8-3.

The win brings St. Olaf to 5-5 on the season and 5-3 in conference play. The Oles will host Gustavus on Monday.
