Men's tennis drills MSU-Mankato, 6-3

NORTHFIELD, Minn.--The St. Olaf men's tennis team gave a strong performance against Minnesota State-Mankato on Tuesday at the Carlson Tennis Courts, winning 6-3.

Ian Pray started off the singles competition with a 6-1, 6-2 win. Drew Erie also dominated at the number two singles spot, 6-2, 6-1. David Narvaez battled back to take a 4-6, 6-1, 10-5 victory. Eric Brandenburg rounded out the Ole wins in singles matches, winning 7-6, 6-3.

In doubles action, Pray and Nick Crnkovich won 8-3. Erie and Narvaez also teamed up for the 8-3 win.

The victory brings St. Olaf to 5-10 on the season and 4-5 in conference action. The Oles will compete in the six-team MIAC playoffs beginning on April 25 in St. Peter, Minn.
