NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Thomas Invitational, held at St. Olaf's Manitou Track, saw the women's track and field team's last races prior to the MIAC Championship meet this Sunday.

The top finisher for the Oles in the unscored meet was Christina Roberts. Roberts was second in the 1500 meter run, crossing the line in 5:02.32. Another Ole, Casey Baustian, was fourth in the same race with a time of 5:04.76.

In the 400 meter hurdles, Kathryn Thompson was second with a time of 1:06.66, earning a spot on the MIAC honor roll top-five.

In field events, pole vaulter Amie Fillmore was third, vaulting 3.51 meters (12'6"). Fillmore's performance qualifies her provisionally for the NCAA National meet, and currently ranks second on the MIAC honor roll.

The St. Olaf track and field teams compete next at the MIAC Championship Meet, held May 9-10 at Hamline College.
