Men's cross country sixth at Les Duke Invite

GRINNELL, Iowa - The St. Olaf men's cross country team raced their first 8 km of the season this morning, finishing sixth overall at the Les Duke Invite.
Crossing the line first for the Oles was Doboul Ruon, finishing in 26:08 for fifth place. Teammate Cullen O'Neill was 14th in 27:02. Rounding out the scoring team were David Green in 27:57, Chris Rivers in 28:05, and Andrew Nussbaum in 28:20.
St. Olaf's final score in the meet was 185 points. Fellow MIAC team Hamline University finished third with 144 points, and Iowa Central Community College won with 120 points.
The event winner, Stephen Dak of Iowa Central, crossed the line in 25:34.
The Ole men will race again next Saturday, September 20 when they host the St. Olaf Invitational.
