Men golfers fifth at MIAC's

COON RAPIDS, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's golf team was fifth at the MIAC Championships at Bunker Hills Golf Course, after shooting a final day 310 on Monday.

The Oles were led by Mack Traynor, Charlie Johnson and Chris Conklin, who finished 12th, 14th and 16th in the three-day event.

Traynor shot a 78 on Monday after back-to-back 76's in the first two rounds.

Conklin had his best round of the event in the final day, firing a 76.

St. Olaf was one stroke behind Bethel for fourth and 14 behind third place Augsburg.
