Volleyball sweeps Macalester

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Jess Levin had 12 kills, hitting .526, to lead the St. Olaf volleyball team to a 25-12, 25-14 and 17-25 win over host Macalester on Wednesday night at the Lenard Center.

St. Olaf (18-10, 4-4 MIAC) hit .374 as a team in the win, while Macalester (4-21, 0-8 MIAC) was limited to a .044 mark.

The Oles had nine kills from Kim Smisek and eight each from Paige Olson and Jane Meyer. Alyssa Williams had a team-best 18 digs.

St. Olaf will host Bethel on Friday at 7 p.m.
