ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Olaf first year Catie Christoffel was named the MIAC's women's soccer athlete of the week on Tuesday, days after she erupted for an eight-point day in the Oles' win over Hamline.

Christoffel had three goals and two assists to lead the Oles a 6-3 win over host Hamline University on Saturday afternoon.

Her eight points rank as the most in an MIAC game this season and are the second-most for any player from the league in any game. She scored the Oles' first, fourth and final goals in the game, and assisted on tallies from Jenny Kallas and Lindsay Howard.

The Oles, who have an outside chance of making the four-team MIAC playoffs, host the University of St. Thomas on Wednesday and Carleton College on Saturday to close the regular season.
