Carleton over men's soccer

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Carleton College scored two goals in a three minute span to give the Knights a 2-0 victory over the St. Olaf men's soccer team in the regular season finale.

Joe Linder put Carleton ahead 1-0 at in the 64th minute with an unassisted goal.

Paul Pedtke used a corner kick by Tim Wills to give the Knights the 2-0 lead in the 66th minute.

Carleton (15-1-2, MIAC 8-1-1) advances to the MIAC playoffs that begin on Tuesday.

St. Olaf (10-7-1, MIAC 4-5-1) did not qualify for the MIAC playoffs.
