ST. PAUL, Minn. - Senior middle hitter Jess Levin and sophomore setter Kelly Prunty were named to the MIAC's all-conference team on Wednesday, assistant league director Matt Ten Haken announced.
Levin is second in the league in hitting percentage (.295) and fifth in kills (3.13/game). She's collected career-highs for kills (391), hitting percentage and blocks (127) this fall. Last week she went over 1,000 career kills in the Oles' win over Hamline on Oct. 29.
Prunty is having a standout sophomore campaign. She's third in the league and 21st in the nation in set assists (10.2/game) and has 1,295 this season, good for ninth all-time at St. Olaf.
Abby Fournier was the team's representative on the MIAC's all-sportsmanship team.
The Oles (21-11), who defeated No. 15 Concordia College-Moorhead on Saturday in the first round of the MIAC Playoffs, play tomorrow at top-seeded and sixth-ranked St. Thomas in the semifinals.
