Women's hockey gets tie with No. 7 Pointers

STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Melissa Sailor scored the Oles' goal in a 1-1 women's hockey tie with seventh-ranked UW-Stevens Point on Saturday night.

Melissa Sailor scored the Oles' goal at the 3:31 mark of the third on a feed from Kristen Latta.

St. Olaf was outshot 39-35, but had 38 saves from goaltender Jessica Ptachick.

The Pointers (0-0-1, 0-0-0 NCHA) took a 1-0 lead on a second period goal from Michelle Sosnowski.
