Ole women get narrow win over Gustavus

NORTHFIELD, Minn.- The St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team defeated Gustavus Adolphus College 148-146 Saturday afternoon at Skoglund Natatorium.

Lauren Snyder swept the 50, 100 and 200 yard freestyle races, winning all events. Snyder was also part of the winning 400 free relay team with Katie Kubat, Jessie Gibbons, and Kjersten Grinde that took first place.

The 200 yard medley team of Alli Beardsley, Grinde, Amanda Rorem and Kubat took first place with a time of 1:53.68.

Beardsley had two more first place finishes in the 200 IM and the 500 free. Grinde also had a first place performance in the 100 breast and a second place finish in the 200 breast.

Other individual wins came from Kubat in the 200 backstroke, Lindsey Hickman in the 100 backstroke.
