Buena Vista tops St. Olaf men

STORM LAKE, Iowa - Eighth-ranked Buena Vista University defeated visiting St. Olaf 65-60 in a men's basketball game on Friday night.
St. Olaf led 32-31 at the half and 58-52 with 5:44 left, but the host Beavers went on an 13-2 run to close the game.
Andre Wagner had a game-best 18 points for Buena Vista, which forced 28 St. Olaf turnovers in the victory.
The Oles were led by Mark Torell's 14 points. Bobby Fong added 11 and Stu Neville ten off the bench.
St. Olaf, for the second straight game, was plagued by poor shooting from the arc. The Oles were 4-of-18 in the loss to BVU and 3-for-21 in Tuesday's loss at Hamline.
The Oles play their home opener on Monday in another non-conference game against another IIAC opponent - Luther College - at 7 p.m.
