Men's cross country 15th at NCAA's, Ruon 22nd

HANOVER, Ind. - Dubuol Ruon was 22nd overall to lead St. Olaf to a 15th place finish at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday.

The Oles' Cullen O'Neill was 88th and David Green 125th in the 278-runner field.

St. Olaf, which won the MIAC Championships and was third at the Central Regional, was the top finisher from the league and region in the event.

The race capped a successful first season for St. Olaf head coach Phil Lundin, who was named the MIAC's coach of the year after leading his team to a league title.
