MANKATO, Minn. - Dylan Mueller and Sam Windsor each scored shorthanded, third period goals to lead the St. Olaf men's hockey team to a 3-2 win on Saturday afternoon and series sweep of Gustavus Adolphus College.

The win moves St. Olaf (6-2-0) to 4-0-0 in MIAC play for the first time in school history.

Ole goaltender Nick Krauss moved to 4-1-1 on the season with his 33-save win.

Gustavus led 1-0 and 2-1 before Mueller and Windsor's third period scores.

Isak Tranvik assisted on Mueller's game-tying goal and had one of his own that tied the game at 1-1 at the 0:21 mark of the second period. Tranvik has a team-best 13 points on five goals and eight assists through the team's first eight games.

The Oles held Gustavus, which had a 35-11 advantage in shots, to 1-for-10 on power plays.

Eric Bigham and Rory Dynan scored for the Gusties, who were ranked 12th and carried a five-game winning streak into the series.

St. Olaf is off next weekend before it plays an MIAC series at Concordia College-Moorhead on Dec. 5 and 6.
