Men's hockey drops Cobbers

MOORHEAD, Minn. - Bryan Osmondson had two goals as the St. Olaf men's hockey team defeated host Concordia College-Moorhead 3-1 on Friday night at the Moorhead Sports Center.

After a scoreless first, St. Olaf (7-2-0, 5-0-0 MIAC) scored three times in the second to carry a 3-0 lead into the third.

David Adams got the first score at the 1:55 mark before Osmondson got goals at the 5:16 mark and again with eight seconds left in the period.

Concordia closed the gap to 3-1 with a goal midway through the third, but Nick Krauss made ten third period saves to seal the Ole victory.

The Oles' 7-2-0 start is the best in school history.

Concordia and St. Olaf finish the series tomorrow at 2 p.m.
