NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf held a 4-2 advantage after two periods over Concordia College-Moorehad but the visiting Cobbers closed the gap midway through the third and the game ended in a 5-5, non-conference women's hockey tie.

The St. Olaf win offset a hat trick effort from the Cobbers' Kristen Dold.

Kim McClintick scored twice for the Oles (2-5-2, 2-3-1 MIAC), who were playing their game since Dec. 6. McClintick's goals each came in the second period and gave St. Olaf a 4-1 lead.

The Cobbers then scored three straight, including two from Dold to tie the game at 4-4.

After the Oles took a 5-4 lead on Melissa Sailor's tally at the 13:01 mark, Dold completed her hat trick with 5:20 left in regulation.

St. Olaf returns to conference play next weekend with a home-and-home series with the College of St. Catherine.
