BLAINE, Minn. - Caleb Harrison had a goal and two assists to propel St. Olaf to a 6-4 non-conference men's hockey win over Bethel University on Wednesday night.
Harrison scored the shorthanded game-winner at the 3:21 mark of the third to complete the Oles' three-goal flurry in the opening minutes of the final period that gave St. Olaf a 5-2 advantage.
With the game tied 2-2 into the final frame, the Oles' Dylan Mueller scored a powerplay goal - his second of the game - at the 1:35 mark. Sam Windsor added an even strength tally 32 seconds later.
The game, a non-league contest between the MIAC schools, became close when Bethel scored twice in a 33-second span later in the period on goals from Jake Koglera and Brad Peterson.
Thor Josefson provided insurance with a power-play tally in the final minute to give the Oles their eighth win in their last ten outings (8-1-1).
