MINNEAPOLIS - St. Olaf had goals from four different players in a 4-1 women's hockey win over the College of St. Catherine to complete an MIAC series sweep, on Sunday afternoon at Ridder Arena.

St. Olaf goaltender Jess Ptachick made 16 of her 31 saves in the final period to get her third win (3-2-1) of the year. She has a 1.64 goals against average and a .948 save percentage in six appearances.

The Oles (4-5-2, 4-4-0 MIAC) led 1-0 on a goal from Anna Messerly late in the first. The game remained 1-0 until a three-goal spurt from St. Olaf in a five-minute stretch of the final period that made it 4-0.

The sweep is the first of the season and the third in the last two for St. Olaf, which moved to .500 in league play.

The Oles play Hamline University in a home-and-home conference series next weekend.
