Jaryan, Torell lead Ole men past SMU

WINONA, Minn. - Mark Torell and Alfie Jaryan each had 16 points to lead St. Olaf to a 71-67 men's basketball win over Saint Mary's University on Saturday afternoon.
Jaryan (4-5) and Torell (2-3) combined to go 6-for-8 from the arc in the win, the Oles' second straight.
Bobby Fong added 14 points for St. Olaf (7-7, 4-5 MIAC), which had another ten point performance from Stu Neville off the bench. Neville has five double-digit point games this year, including each of the last three.
Will Wright had 30 points for Saint Mary's. Wright had a great day from the arc as well, going 5-for-6 in the loss.
St. Olaf will look for its third straight win on Monday, when it hosts Concordia College-Moorhead at 7:45 p.m.
