NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The College of St. Catherine overcame a 15-point second half deficit to beat St. Olaf 78-72 in overtime in an MIAC women's basketball game on Wednesday night at Skoglund Center.

St. Olaf, which had 23 points from Jamie Erdahl and 21 and 12 rebounds from Elyse Erickson, led 55-40 with 7:33 left in regulation.

St. Catherine then went on a 22-5 run and took a two-point lead inside the final minute.

The Oles' Terin Euerle sent the game into the extra session with her layup as time expired. Euerle finished with 11 points off the bench.

The Wildcats, who were led by Molly Peterson's 19 points, scored eight of the game's last ten points in the final three minutes of overtime to earn the win.

St. Olaf had its best shooting performance of the season -- going 48.0 percent from the field and 46.2 percent from three -- but was plagued by 30 turnovers. Erdahl was 3-for-4 from three, a perfect 10-of-10 from the line but had ten giveaways.

St. Kate's had three others, besides Peterson, in double figures -- Laura Kalbfell with 16, Brooke Hakanson with 13 and Jessica Arechigo with ten.
