Men's track compete at St. Olaf Triangular

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf men's track and field team competed in its first home event of the indoor season, meeting teams from Carleton College and Hamline University in Saturday's St. Olaf Triangular.
Top performers for St. Olaf in the meet included senior Cullen O'Neill, who won the 800 meter run in 1:57.05. Teammates Dobuol Ruon and David Green took first and second place in the 1,000 meter run, respectively.
In the field events, Ole Zeke Heidenreich won the weight throw with a distance of 15.39 meters. Ryan Doyle added points with a second place finish in the long jump.
The Oles wrapped up the 17 event meet with a score of 134.5 points. Hamline was second with 104, while Carleton finished with 78.5.
The St. Olaf men's track and field team competes again next week, January 30, at home.
