NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Augsburg College, led by Nate Alm's 18 points, opened up a 17-point second half lead and held on for a 65-61 MIAC men's basketball win over host St. Olaf on Saturday.

St. Olaf (8-10, 5-8 MIAC) was plagued by cold shooting. The Oles shot just 27.3 percent from the floor and were 2-for-12 from the arc in the first half, helping the Auggies to a 32-21 lead at the break.

Mitch Haugen had 14 points while Tucker Sheley had ten in the loss for the Oles, who have lost three in a row.

Andy Grzesiak-Grimm and Jon Cassens added 12 points each for the Auggies. Cassens hit a key jumper with 2:47 left and nailed all four free throw attempts inside the final minute to help seal the win.

St. Olaf will play at Carleton on Monday before it hosts Saint John's on Wednesday.
