HARTFORD, Conn. - Trinity College outshot St. Olaf 52-22 and claimed a 2-1 women's hockey win over St. Olaf on Monday, despite 50 saves from the Oles' Jessica Ptachick.

Ptachich took the hardluck loss after making 17 saves in the first, 21 in the second and 12 in the third period.

The Oles tied the game at 1-1 with Meghan Stumpf's power-play goal at 5:21 of the second on an assist from Kristen Latta.

The Bantams then got a goal from Celia Colman-McGaw at 8:21 of the third and held on for the 2-1 win.

St. Olaf finishes its three-game trip to the East Coast with tomorrow's contest with Connecticut College.

The Oles return to Minnesota this weekend for a two-game home-and-home series with Bethel University on Friday and Saturday.
