NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Thomas' Kelly Reddin scored with 5:18 left in regulation to lift the visiting Tommies over St. Olaf, 3-2, in an MIAC women's hockey game on Saturday night.

St. Olaf (6-13-4, 5-9-2 MIAC) erased an early 2-0 deficit with two goals from Kim McClintick to tie the game at 2-2. McClintick's second goal came short-handed, 3:33 into the third period.

The Tommies outshot St. Olaf 35-26, including 15-5 in the final period. Jess Ptachick made 32 saves for the Oles, taking the tough loss.

The defeat was the sixth in a row for St. Olaf. Each of the last four losses were by one goal.

The loss, coupled with wins by Saint Ben's and St. Catherine, drops the Oles into seventh place in the MIAC with one weekend left. Five teams make the league's postseason tournament.

St. Olaf will play Augsburg in the final regular season series next weekend.
