Oles win regional, qualify for USCSA's

MARQUETTE, Mich. - The St. Olaf men's alpine ski team finished first of 20 teams at the Midwest Regional on Sunday to secure a bid to the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA) Championships.

Max Lund won the Slalom and Nick Stang finished second in the Giant Slalom as St. Olaf placed five in the top ten to win each event.

Last year the Oles placed sixth in the USCSA's. St. Olaf will compete at the USCSA Championship March 2-9 in Winter Park, Colo.
