Men's basketball makes it two straight

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Alfred Jaryan had 17 points, five assists and four steals to lead St. Olaf to a 68-47 MIAC men's basketball win over host Macalester on Wednesday night.

Tucker Sheley added 12 points and a career-best 13 rebounds in the win for the Oles (10-14, 7-12 MIAC), their second straight.

Paul Richie and Jerry Kraus had ten points each for the Scots.

St. Olaf raced to a 23-7 lead in the first nine-plus minutes and never turned back. Jaryan had 13 points in the first half, helping the Oles to a 38-22 advantage at the break.

St. Olaf finishes the season at Concordia College-Moorhead on Saturday at 3 p.m.
