Beardsley, Snyder get wins as Oles fourth after MIAC's first day

MINNEAPOLIS - Alli Beardsley won the 200 IM and Lauren Snyder the 50 Free to lead the St. Olaf women's swimming and diving team in the first of three days at the MIAC Championships at the University of Minnesota Aquatics Center.

The Oles' also picked up a second place swim in the 400 Medley Relay in a school record 3:58.19, which was also an NCAA B cut.

Through the first day, the Oles stand in fourth place.

Beardsley, who broke her school record in the event's prelims earlier in the day, won the 200 IM in an NCAA B cut 2:09.18.

Snyder sprinted to a win in the 50 Free in a B cut 23.73.
