MINNEAPOLIS - Meghan Stumpf scored at the 2:17 mark of overtime as the St. Olaf women's hockey team stayed in the hunt for an MIAC playoffs spot with a 4-3 win over host Augsburg College on Friday night.

Stumpf's score came on an assist from Kari McClintick and helped the Oles stop a six-game losing streak. McClintick added a power-play goal and another assist in the victory, which enabled St. Olaf to stay in the picture for the fifth and final spot in the MIAC playoffs.

The Oles are in a tie with Saint Ben's and Saint Mary's, and a point behind St. Catherine with only Saturday's games left to play.

Augsburg led 2-1 after the first and 3-2 after the second before St. Olaf got a game-tying goal from Kelly Biddle at 2:35 of the third.
