Men's alpine skiing finishes seventh at USCSA Championships

WINTER PARK, Colo. - The St. Olaf men's alpine ski team finished seventh at the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association Championships on Sunday after finishing sixth in the giant slalom and ninth in the slalom.
The team also combined with the women's alpine ski team and the men's and women's nordic ski teams to win the association's President's Award for the combined nordic and alpine honor.
The Oles were led by Nick Stang, who was ninth in each race to earn USCSA second team All-America honors. Stang's runs were a combined sixth-best overall.
Jeff Stamp added a 12th place finish in the slalom and was 34th in the giant slalom.
