Women's Nordic third overall at USCSA Championships

WINTER PARK, Colo. - The St. Olaf women's nordic team finished third with a total of 83 points at the 2009 U.S. Collegiate Skiing and Snowboarding National Championships at Devil's Thumb Ranch, Colo. Mar. 3-7.

The Oles took third in the 1.5K Sprint, second in the 8.5K Classic, third in the 15K Freestyle, and first in the 3x5k Relay.

Caitlin Marine, Sarah Flemming, and Shaina Short took first in the 3x5K Relay with a time of 58:24.1. Marine placed eighth in the women's individual overall standings with a total of 26 points.
