MINNEAPOLIS - St. Olaf remained in fourth place overall after Nelson Westby finished second in the 100 Breast and Adam Meyer was fifth in the 100 Back in Friday's session at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships.

Westby's quest for a second individual national title in the event was .21 seconds off Pavel Buyanov's national record winning time and is a St. Olaf school record.

Meyer went 50.26 in the finals to collect the fifth place finish.

The Oles' 800 Free Relay team -- of Westby, Koch, Nate Bentley and Chris Bateman -- finished seventh in 6:44.80.
