Baseball suffers sweep to Anderson

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - Anderson University dealt St. Olaf a 4-0 and 11-6 baseball sweep on Saturday morning. The losses mark the second time a non-conference opponent has swept the Oles since 2005.
Game One: Anderson 4, St. Olaf 0 Aaron Vogel limited St. Olaf to five hits and on walk, while striking out seven, in the complete game win.
Brett Detty had three hits and drove in two runs for Anderson.
The Oles were led by Tyler Jones and Sam Baltes, who each went 2-for-3 in the loss.
Game Two: Anderson 11, St. Olaf 6 Cody Young's grand slam in the top of the eighth capped a five-run inning to lift Anderson to the win and sweep.
St. Olaf had tied the game on a two-out RBI single by Justin Tobias in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to an extra frame.
Tyler Johnson went 3-for-3 with a homerun and four RBIs while Erik Klefsaas, Sam Baltes and Jones each added two hits for St. Olaf in the loss.
