Women's tennis battles, but falls to Carleton

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Olaf picked up a pair of singles wins and another in doubles, but fell to Carleton College 6-3 on Wednesday at the Carlson Courts.

Claire Carlson and Aimee Ny won at the fourth and fifth singles spot. The team had two others -- Caitlin Harper at the second spot and Christine Muller at the third -- lose a third set tiebreak.

Harper and Ny teamed up to win at the No. 2 doubles spot.

St. Olaf, now 4-2 in league play will face UW-La Crosse at home on Tuesday.
