Gant joins Rams

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Horace Gant, a 2008 graduate of St. Olaf who spent last season on the Washington Redskins' practice squad, was signed by the St. Louis Rams earlier this week.

Gant had two receptions for 26 yards during the Redskins' five preseason games last season.

He holds records at St. Olaf for career receptions (185), receiving touchdowns (27) and receiving yards (3,061). The Oles were a combined 31-9 during Gant's four seasons at St. Olaf.
